E-commerce

Between someone opening the shop and paying, there are seven or eight steps. People drop out at every one of them. Working on a shop is mostly this: finding out at which step they leave, and why.

Where they get lost

The eight places where an order leaks away.

We check them in this order for every shop. The problem is almost always in the first four.

SearchIt can't find a product that's misspelt or typed in Latin script. In a Bulgarian shop, that's a huge loss.
FiltersMissing or useless. The buyer can't get to their size and leaves.
The product pageSize, composition, compatibility or delivery time is missing. Doubt equals a lost sale.
The delivery costShown only at the last step. That's the number one reason for abandoned baskets.
RegistrationRequired in order to buy. Every forced account costs orders.
Checkout stepsFive screens where two would do. Every extra screen loses people.
PaymentOnly one method. Cash on delivery still matters in Bulgaria, and its absence is felt.
After the orderNo confirmation and no tracking. The customer gets worried and calls.

What we do

What we take on.

It can be a new shop or work on an existing one. The second is the more common case.

A new shopEntirely from scratch, on WooCommerce, with payments and couriers. See shop development.
Review of an existing shopWalking through the whole path to an order, with an ordered list of what's lost where.
PaymentsCard, cash on delivery, bank transfer. Checked with real transactions, not in test mode.
CouriersEcont and Speedy, with pickup-office selection from a map and automatic shipping labels.
Warehouse linkStock comes from your software and never drifts out of step with the site.
SpeedA shop with a large catalogue slows down. It shows directly in the orders.
TrackingOrders with their value in analytics, so you know which channel brings revenue.
Automatic emailsConfirmation, dispatch, abandoned basket. The last one often brings back real money.

How much does an online shop cost?

It starts at €1,200 for a shop with payments, couriers and up to ten products entered by us. Details are on the shop development page.

I have a shop, but it doesn't sell much. What should I do?

First, a review of the path to an order — exactly where people leave. The problem is usually in delivery, filters or compulsory registration, not in the design.

Paying for more visitors before that's fixed is the most expensive approach there is.

Which platform do you recommend?

For a shop selling in Bulgaria, almost always WooCommerce — because of the links to local couriers, accounting and payment providers, and because it stays yours.

If the task is very specific, we'll tell you if another solution makes more sense.

Do you work on shops built by others?

Yes, that's the common case. First we look at the state it's in and tell you honestly whether it's worth working on.

Can the stock levels come from the warehouse?

Yes, it's one of the most useful integrations. It stops the site and the warehouse drifting apart, and stops out-of-stock items being sold.

Next step

It starts with a conversation.

Thirty minutes, no fee and no sales pitch. If the job isn't for us, we'll tell you on that call — not a month later.
