Event screens

An event doesn't fail because the screen is small, but because at the most important minute it shows something else. That's why the work here is half technology and half rehearsal.

Scope

What we cover.

You can take the whole thing or just the part you're missing — usually the content or the person at the desk.

The screenAn LED wall or projection, depending on the room, the light and the distance to the back row.
PlacementWhere it should stand so the whole room can see it and it doesn't dazzle the speaker.
ContentPresentations, captions, holding slides and backgrounds — prepared and lined up in the right order.
Live switchingBetween presentation, camera and holding slide. This person decides what the event looks like.
A run-through firstA full rehearsal with the actual files, not samples. This is where broken fonts get caught.
A backup pathA second laptop with a copy of everything. A rule, not an option.
Set-up and take-downWithin the windows the venue gives us, even if that means overnight.
Recording or streamingIf the event also has to reach people who aren't in the room.

From experience

What goes wrong at events.

We've seen every one of these. Every one is preventable with half an hour of preparation the day before.

Yesterday's fileThe speaker brings a new version ten minutes before the start. That's why someone is there to take it and check it.
The font is missingThe presentation looks different on someone else's computer. It's checked on the very machine that will run it.
Wrong aspect ratioThe slides are 16:9, the screen is something else. The result: cut-off headings.
The video's soundThe video in the presentation plays silently because nobody tried it in the room.
The cableThe speaker's laptop has a different output. We bring adapters for everything.
A screen that falls asleepThe computer locks itself during a break. That's set up in advance.

Questions

About event screens.

If your question isn't here, call us — we answer by phone too.

How much does a screen for an event cost?

It depends on the size, the room and how many days it runs. It's quoted once we've seen the room or its floor plan.

If you have a budget in mind, say it on the first call — that way it's immediately clear what's realistic.

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier, the better — in peak season equipment is booked weeks ahead. We take on urgent requests depending on availability.

Can you do just the content?

Yes. If you have the equipment and the people but nobody to prepare the presentations, holding slides and captions, we take on just that.

Do you come on site during the event?

Yes, when the scope includes it. A screen without someone at the desk is a risk that's rarely worth taking.

Do you work outside Sofia?

Yes, across Bulgaria. Travel and accommodation are calculated separately and shown in the quote.
